Our Story
At Snackteva, we’ve built our lives — and our business — around helping natural food brands grow with integrity, purpose, and operational excellence. Our story began in 1995 when Liz Ward founded BumbleBar, the first certified organic, gluten-free snack bar in the U.S. From the outset, we did things differently — using 100% recycled display boxes printed with soy-based inks, partnering with co-ops in Ethiopia and Nicaragua, and offering employees full medical and retirement benefits. BumbleBar wasn’t just a product; it was a movement.
Glenn Ward soon joined the company and, together as partners in life and business, we scaled BumbleBar into a nationally distributed brand. Along the way, we built and operated four different snack bar facilities, launched a successful co-manufacturing operation (CleanCopack), and supported the development of over 100 clean-label brands.
